Uluslararas\u0131 Roman Birli\u011fi&#8217;ne kat\u0131larak \u00fcyeli\u011fini geni\u015fletmek i\u00e7in \u00e7ok \u00e7al\u0131\u015ft\u0131 ve 1981&#8217;de \u00dc\u00e7\u00fcnc\u00fc D\u00fcnya Roman Kongresi&#8217;nde D\u00fcnya Roman Kongresi Ba\u015fkan\u0131 se\u00e7ildi. Ancak siyasi zorluklar, Yugoslavya&#8217;da bir D\u00f6rd\u00fcnc\u00fc D\u00fcnya Roman Kongresi&#8217;nin yap\u0131lmas\u0131n\u0131 engelledi ve 1990&#8217;da Polonya&#8217;da yap\u0131ld\u0131\u011f\u0131nda, ba\u015fkanl\u0131\u011f\u0131 Rajko Duri\u010d&#8217;e devretti ve uluslararas\u0131 d\u00fczeyde bu kongreyi tekrarlayamad\u0131\u011f\u0131 i\u00e7in \u00fcz\u00fcld\u00fc.
