Belki de bu y\u00fczden Homo sapiens bir Homo narrans\u2019t\u0131r yani hik\u00e2ye anlatan insand\u0131r.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>T\u00fcm bu paragraf\u0131 d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnd\u00fc\u011f\u00fcmde akl\u0131ma insan\u0131n dilin ipine sar\u0131larak anlatt\u0131\u011f\u0131 hik\u00e2yelerde Romanlar\u0131n yerinin ne oldu\u011fu sorusu geldi. Romanlar anlatandan \u00e7ok anlat\u0131lan konumundad\u0131rlar ve T\u00fcrk edebiyat\u0131nda Roman fig\u00fcr\u00fcn\u00fc tarihsel s\u00fcre\u00e7 i\u00e7inde de\u011ferlendirmek gerekirse toplumun derin dinamiklerini yans\u0131tan bir ayna oldu\u011funu s\u00f6ylemek gerekir.<\/p>\n<p>Romanlar\u0131 konu alan ilk eser olma \u00f6zelli\u011fi ta\u015f\u0131yan Ahmet Mithat Efendi\u2019nin <em>\u201cLetaif-i Rivayet\u201d<\/em> serisinin on be\u015finci kitab\u0131 olan <em>\u201c\u00c7ingene\u201d<\/em> Osmanl\u0131 toplumundaki Romanlar\u0131n durumunu anlatan g\u00fczel bir \u00f6rnektir.<em> \u201c\u00c7ingene\u201d<\/em> adl\u0131 eserde; varl\u0131kl\u0131 bir aileden gelen \u015eems Hikmet Bey e\u011flenmek i\u00e7in gitti\u011fi bir yerde Roman k\u0131z\u0131 Ziba&#8217;ya \u00e2\u015f\u0131k olur. Bir Roman k\u0131z\u0131na \u00e2\u015f\u0131k olmas\u0131n\u0131 ailesinin ve arkada\u015flar\u0131n\u0131n onaylamayaca\u011f\u0131n\u0131 bildi\u011fi i\u00e7in Ziba\u2019y\u0131 e\u011fitece\u011fini s\u00f6yleyerek bir tan\u0131d\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131n kona\u011f\u0131na hizmet\u00e7i olarak yerle\u015ftirir. Bir y\u0131l boyunca g\u00f6rg\u00fc ve musiki dersleri alan Ziba, herkesi \u015fa\u015f\u0131rtacak kadar de\u011fi\u015ferek bir \u201chan\u0131mefendiye\u201d d\u00f6n\u00fc\u015f\u00fcr.<\/p>\n<p>Ahmet Mithat Efendi\u2019nin <em>\u201c\u00c7ingene\u201d<\/em> roman\u0131, bir Roman k\u0131z\u0131n\u0131n \u201cmedenile\u015ftirilme\u201d \u00e7abas\u0131n\u0131 konu al\u0131yor. Kitapta Romanlar: <em><strong>\u201cg\u00f6\u00e7ebe, e\u011flendirici, dilenci, terbiye g\u00f6rmemi\u015f, medeniyetten mahrum, cahil, insan yabanisi, pis\u201d<\/strong> <\/em>olarak tan\u0131mlan\u0131yor. Hatta kitab\u0131n bir yerinde ge\u00e7en, <strong><em>\u201cBir g\u00fczel k\u0131z senin gibi y\u0131l\u0131\u015f\u0131k olmamal\u0131. Gayet a\u011f\u0131rba\u015fl\u0131 olmal\u0131. Y\u00fczs\u00fczcesine s\u00f6zler ile<\/em> kendi kadrini, k\u0131ymetini d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcrmemelidir.\u201d(syf.467)<\/strong> nasihati ve daha buna benzer pek \u00e7ok diyalog anlat\u0131c\u0131n\u0131n da Romanlara y\u00f6nelik genelleyici yarg\u0131lara sahip oldu\u011funu ve kitab\u0131 yazmadaki amac\u0131n Romanlara y\u00f6nelik negatif alg\u0131lar\u0131 de\u011fi\u015ftirmek de\u011fil; e\u011fitim ile bir Roman k\u0131z\u0131n\u0131n \u201cbile\u201d medenile\u015febilece\u011fini anlat\u0131yor.<\/p>\n<p>T\u00fcrk Edebiyat\u0131nda Ahmet Mithat Efendi\u2019nin <strong><em>\u201c\u00c7ingene\u201d<\/em> <\/strong>kitab\u0131 ile ba\u015flayan Roman imgesi ve \u00f6nyarg\u0131s\u0131 Melih Cevdet Anday\u2019\u0131n <strong><em>\u201cRaziye\u201d<\/em><\/strong>, H\u00fcseyin Rahmi G\u00fcrp\u0131nar\u2019\u0131n <strong><em>\u201cK\u0131pti D\u00fc\u011f\u00fcn\u00fc\u201d<\/em><\/strong>, Halide Edip\u2019in <strong><em>\u201c\u00c7ingene K\u0131z\u0131\u201d<\/em><\/strong> roman\u0131 ile devam eder. T\u00fcm romanlardaki Roman karakterler <strong><em>\u201cpis, dilenci, g\u00fcvenilmez, cahil, k\u00fcf\u00fcrbaz, kavgac\u0131, e\u011fitimsiz, dinsiz, sanattan anlamayan,<\/em> insanlar\u0131 alaya alan\u201d<\/strong> ki\u015filer olarak damgalan\u0131r.<\/p>\n<p>T\u00fcm bahsedilen eserleri de\u011ferlendirdi\u011fimizde Romanlar, \u00e7o\u011fu zaman ya\u015fam\u0131n k\u0131y\u0131s\u0131nda, toplumun kenar\u0131nda var olan bir karakter olarak \u00e7\u0131kar kar\u015f\u0131m\u0131za. Olumlu \u015fekilde yans\u0131t\u0131lan eserlerde genel anlat\u0131m tarz\u0131, toplumda yerle\u015fik olan \u00f6nyarg\u0131lar\u0131 peki\u015ftirici bir nitelikte, egzotik bir varl\u0131k olarak sunulur. S\u0131kl\u0131kla, m\u00fczik ve dans\u0131n b\u00fcy\u00fcl\u00fc d\u00fcnyas\u0131nda hayat bulan; her bir nota, her bir dans fig\u00fcr\u00fc ile \u00f6zg\u00fcrl\u00fc\u011f\u00fcn ve tutkunun temsili olarak sunulan, gizemli bir aura ta\u015f\u0131yan Roman fig\u00fcr\u00fc, romantik bir mitos olarak edebiyat\u0131n derinliklerine yerle\u015fmi\u015ftir. Ancak sayfalar\u0131n aras\u0131nda rastlad\u0131\u011f\u0131m\u0131z reng\u00e2renk pe\u015ftemallerle melodik ezgilerin ard\u0131nda, sosyal ayr\u0131mc\u0131l\u0131\u011f\u0131n ve \u00f6tekile\u015ftirilmenin ac\u0131mas\u0131z y\u00fcz\u00fc yatar.
