Bu grubun kad\u0131n \u00fcyeleri ise, cinsiyet fakt\u00f6r\u00fcn\u00fcn de etkisi ile toplumun \u00e7oklu ayr\u0131mc\u0131l\u0131k ma\u011fdurlar\u0131 olup toplumun en dezavantajl\u0131 gruplardan biri olma stat\u00fcs\u00fcn delerdir. T\u00fcrkiye\u2019de, tabii Avrupa\u2019da da, entelekt\u00fcel insan kayna\u011f\u0131 birikimi olmayan Romanlar\u0131n ekonomik, siyasal ve sosyal haklar\u0131 i\u00e7in m\u00fccadele verecek sivil toplum kurulu\u015flar\u0131 da yok denecek kadar azd\u0131r. Bu y\u00fczden de g\u00fcn\u00fcm\u00fcze kadar Romanlar ya kendi sorunlar\u0131 ile ba\u015f ba\u015fa b\u0131rak\u0131lm\u0131\u015flar, ya da siyasal iktidar\u0131n adaletine terk edilmi\u015flerdir. Bu \u00e7al\u0131\u015fman\u0131n amac\u0131, T\u00fcrkiye\u2019de ya\u015fayan ve \u00fczerinde \u00f6zellikli cinsiyet temelli bilimsel veriye rastlanamayan Roman kad\u0131n grubunun g\u00fcnl\u00fck ya\u015fam i\u00e7inde maruz kald\u0131klar\u0131 alg\u0131lanm\u0131\u015f etnik ayr\u0131mc\u0131l\u0131k deneyimlerini tespit etmektedir. Bu ana hedefin yan\u0131nda, alg\u0131lanan etnik ayr\u0131mc\u0131l\u0131k deneyimlerinin grup \u00fcyeleri \u00fczerindeki benlik sayg\u0131s\u0131 ve umutsuzluk \u00fczerine etkileri incelenmi\u015ftir.
